Greetings from MicroShire Hampton, VA USDA Zone 8b
Good day everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself briefly and say hello. Although I am new to this forum, I am not new to plants/gardening having worked many years in the Horticulture Industry. I live and work in Hampton, VA USDA Zone 8b, but to support my orchid hobby I have several hundred feet of indoor growing area under lights. I use fluorescent, LED, Metal Halide, and HP Sodium light depending on the need. My main plant passion is hybridizing and growing orchids, but not too long ago I became interested in Micro Tomatoes. I made it a goal to acquire, grow and store seed from as many Micro Tomato varieties as I could.
It was during my quest for different Micro Tomato seeds that I happened upon this forum. The goals of the MTDP are very similar to mine, so I have joined this group and hope to be an active participating member of the Multifloral and BLT projects.
