Hi, I'm wondering if the scars on my tomato plants are anything to worry about or catch early on. These are 4 separate tomato plants, each with similar scarring. The plants look healthy, just a few leaves that are affected. Soil is not mulched yet but I will mulch tomorrow. I have been watering the with shower hose attachment but recently learned that could heighten chance of infection so I will stop that. Let me know if you have any idea. Thanks.

Scars on New Tomato Plants

Some of them look like they could be sunscald, and if you are watering from above that could cause it. But, many of those spots have holes in them which is not normal with sunscald. It's also possible there was a slight nutrient imbalance. Potassium deficiency can present as spots like those, without the holes usually, in some plants.
I suspect they will likely grow right out of this and be fine - but I would definitely recommend watering at the soil level, and trying not to spray water/soil on to the leaves. Also, make sure you're keeping them fed with fertilizer/compost/etc
